Our newest adventure! Tackling Somersby Falls. I’d always known of these falls in the area but had never visited before, so we decided to take the day to explore. Finding your way here isn’t hard as it’s not far from the motorway, but there aren’t many parking spots so you might find yourself parking on the road side (plus parking costs $7 for the day). We started making our way down the walkway which isn’t too steep and does have a handrail most of the way down to the top falls. We then headed down to the bottom falls, which is a much steeper descent so watch your step! From here we decided to head off the beaten path and down the river to see what else we could find. If your fit and nimble enough I definitely recommend following the river down because you’ll be rewarded at the end by the best waterfall yet. So if you’re near the area or ever headed along the motorway, make sure you plan a stop here, there are waterfalls to see for all the family.
