This post is about the time I became a state champion. Well it wasn't just me but about 20 others as well. When I was first applying to the University I currently study at I saw that they had a Cheerleading team. Having grown up on the Bring it On movies I was intrigued to see if it was anything like it. I found their Facebook page and watched a few videos and it was decided, if I got into the university I would try out for the cheer team. Well I did get in and off to trials I went. I made the team and had a lot of fun training with all my team mates. Our first competition ended up being one of the biggest ones of the year against the entire state! Our routine was great and everyone was so excited to have performed so well for our first routine out on the floor. To our surprise at the award ceremony we had come first! It was great to be a state champion and even though I no longer do Allstar Cheerleading I'll have great memories for a life time.
